Re: [RC] managment and completion awards - m lI think that is great that you helped your friend. Your gift should have been different than a completion award. It is great to give hard luck gifts, thank you gifts, and specially gifts for exceptional horsemanship. Those awards should be different than a completion award. We tried everything to get that horse across, and she just wouldn't go, my friend finally said "you better go or you won't make it" At that time I didn't realize that the hold time was counted in the six hours, (it was my second ride) so I was taking my time. Ride manager gave me a t-shirt (my favorite completion award) because of my efforts to help my friend, and maybe my ignorance.
