[RC] re:treatment for Chryptorchid stud colt? - Michelle Fink"Anyone out there have any experiences with surgical treatment for gelding a Chryptorchid foal? What does it cost, generally? Complications?" Just had my 2 yr. old cryptorchid rescue colt done 4 weeks ago. Cost is usually about 2x the regular procedure (my bill was $340). It has the risks of abdominal surgery - hernia, infection, etc. However, the vet I used has a 100% success record and it was successful on my guy.
