[RC] Rain Rot...once again - Val NicosonHave dealt with a few additional rain rot spots on my horse since her initial stages of rain rot have pretty much gone away. Farrier suggested applying Provodine Iodine on it and leaving it there...then of course next day to remove the scabs and reapply. This worked quite well in getting rid of the initial rain rot infection. With the few additional spots she has gotten have gone to using Tea Tree Oil...it is an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and seems to be working equally well. Just another 2 cents worth, Val + Sania (looking better every day...rain, rain, go away) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
