RE: [RC] No Old Dominion for me - Karen WilliamsI think that's correct. I've had to resort to conditioning in the rain and we have had a *LOT* of practice traipsing through all kinds of muddy conditions. I'm planning on doing the OD 25 (our first "endurance" ride) and am hoping the weather gets better in June. I got up this afternoon (night worker) and was excited to actually see sunlight and blue sky! Made a cup of tea, sat down to wake up and read my e-mail and now (45 minutes later) the skies are black, I hear thunder rumbling and its raining again. Don't mind the rain, but won't ride when its thundering. Sure am glad we are only doing 25 as I think that's about as far as we can go considering how little I've been able to ride the past month. DARN! How dare she, the inconsiderate b.... just kidding! On the 'bright' side, now I don't have to worry about the rain interfering with training. I feel like I should take up water polo. Someone told me the last totally sunny day in the D.C. metro area was April 20th! Does anyone know where I can find a sheepskin cover for a intec Pro endurance - the kind that covers the entire saddle (not just the seat)?
