I want to put a sign on the front of my truck that says: "The space you just pulled into is there for me to stop in. I'll just use you instead." Y'know, that was one nice thing back in the CB-craze days, you could actually do something like that. I was pulling a trailer down the interstate once with the Balrog (my first 1-ton dually pickup). Some idiot cut me off and I had to brake for all I was worth to stay out of his trunk. He had a CB antenna, so I called him and told him he almost had me in his back seat. He says, "Didn't you see my turn signal?" (Turned on just as he suddenly whipped over) I told him "That blinking light doesn't help this big rig stop." We had a few more words, but alas, I still don't think he got it. Oh, no horses got discombobulated. That was before I discovered endurance, the trailer had a race car on it. Hmmm ... then there was the time the fellow drove right into the back of my steel 4-horse trailer (being pulled by the Balrog) on I-40 near Nashville. (Messed up his car, only smudged some paint on the trailer) There's just no accounting for some of the idiots out there. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
