Howell whisperfeather@xxxxxxx Can I get some feedback about the stonewall saddles from some riders who have experience with them. Any pros and cons. Thanks in advance. I rode close to 10,000 miles of my endurance rides in a Stonewall Clifer (the cutback model, which they don't make any more). I tossed the fenders and used biothane stirrup leathers. When the first one wore out and the tree finally broke, I bought a used one and sent it to Stonewall to be reconditioned ... it came back like new. Pro: light, comfortable for me and the horse, versatile rigging. Rarely had any back problems while using it (me or the horse). Con: it won't fit all horses, and the Clifer didn't have the tree strength for longevity. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
