[RC] EPM endurance horse owners how long for rehab>? - Laurie Durgin

Have been to lots of webvsites and the EPM group at yahoo. Have heard some "it took 2 years for him to get back to where he was stuff". IF he recovers fully(like no lamness, tripping,etc. )how long did it take you to get your horse back to competition level and what med. were they on? I just got the Marquis drug today (same as baycox I believe).He was on the sulfa/pyrith. drugs for 6 days while waiting for the mail to get it here from Smartpak. First /hopefully only course is 28 days. And this is considering it came on suddenly, not months of problems I couldn't figure out, like some I have heard.
I may have to start writing stories about training Honey now, if it takes me 2 years to get him 'back". Laurie and Rscal
