Re: [RC] Slide in Camper On A Dually - Joe LongOn Mon, 19 May 2003 22:02:49 -0400, "April Johnson" <ridecamp_mail@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Ok, you guys have to have an answer for me. I know there are people with slide-in campers that drive dually trucks. Hubby and I are going to look at a Ford F-350 dually truck tomorrow. We're kinda excited about it, but we have an 8' slide in camper that (if we get the truck) we would want to put on the dually. The camper has 3 stabilizer/stands. One in the middle on the passenger side and 2 on the driver's side, one at the front and one near the rear of the camper. So how do you back a dually under that camper without knocking your stablizer/stands out from under the camper? Thanks for any suggestions! We had that arrangement at one time (a long time ago!). You get extension on the stands so they clear the fenders. Any camper shop should be able to fix you up. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
