[RC] Epm/suppliments/worming? - Laurie Durgin

I have gathered some Info. Everyone agrees on the E. Do I still need to add folic acid when I switch to the Marquis?(as it is shorter term and it may not? cause anemia??)
Daughters trainer/breeder said to give him MSN also. And maybe DMSO shots?
He was wormed last with Ivermectin in March 5. I learned not to give him Quest/ivermectin with the epm. My vet said go ahead and worm him with Pancur. What do you think? I have heard of some crashes from the stress of worming. How about I hold off a month till he is done with the Marquis? I usually worm every months ,but a lot of people do it less.
Will he need folic acid with the Marquis drugs, ie. : they all cause Anemia? Or just the sulfa/prithym. drugs?
So my shopping list is:Vit. E(8,000 units). selenium, Folic acid, Msn ? Maybe Pancur, DMSO?(or hold off unless he crashes from a die off).
Laurie and Rascal(off to read , Ohio State, Tufts Unv., Univ Kentucky.: whomever has epm info(and did they do 'good research" or not is the question)) I am now certifiably NUTS!!!!

No, the crash is an allergic reaction to the die-off, and same thing occurs
with parasites not in the CNS as well.  It isn't contained in the CNS.  The
"toxicity" simply overwhelms the ability of the liver, kidneys, etc. to
handle it.

Yes, the CNS is to some degree a "closed system" but only to certain things.
Some drugs, for instance, can't cross the "bbb" (the blood-brain barrier)
but others can, and do. It isn't like putting a lid on a jar and having a
"closed" system--it is only closed to certain things.
