Re: [RC] joint supplements - Karen J ZelinskyABC joint jolt works wonders on the two geldings out here on my pasture. One is about 25 yo and has ringbone, water on the knee for about 24 years and could barely walk before joint jolt - a vet said put him down - now he will actually do some slow-mo loping - and the other boy is a pin-fired standardbred who had very swollen legs when he first came here 3 years ago as a rescue horse - evidently he was much better since he was first taken in by the rescue place. Both have been on joint jolt for more than a year - maybe two, and they are hell on wheels - tearing up the pasture - especially the "young" standardbred - a mere 15 yo now. He makes the TBs look slow the way he runs around and makes big mud-pies (aaaaargggghhhh! ;( ). Their owner is pleased and will keep them on JJ for sure. My mare did not take to it the same, but I think her problem is more in the founder/hip zone... but that stuff sure works on them.
