PS take your medication before the pain comes in catch up doesn't work well on pain. AMEN to that. Also, with arthroscopic when they tell you keep off as much as possible that means all the time. I sat in my recliner chair with ice on my knee for three days. If I had to get up to go to the bathroom, I would take a turn through the kitchen for food or coffee, other rooms for whatever else I needed and back to the chair with the ice and elevation. I was over 50 and overweight and my knee did not swell one tiny bit. They don't mean to jump up and down getting "necessary" things. Only get up a few times a day. Take drugs and watch cable movies if you have them. They saved my sanity. That and books.........DO WHATEVER EXERCISES THEY TELL YOU OR YOUR RANGE OF MOTION WILL BE GONE......................mb =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
