[RC] Found in Woods? - Jonni Jewell

One year at the Sunland Endurance ride in So. California, the fellow who
placed water troughs at certain points along the trail, got up to the
parking area early, to set tanks out, and fill them. There was a car parked
there, and that was odd, as it is not a spot someone would park, so very
early in the AM. When he walked over to the car, he saw a man inside, he
thought was sleeping. Turns out he was dead. Could not get car and body
removed before all the riders had to pass through the spot. We now refer to
that parking area as "Deadmans".
