[RC] re: RC: High-strung mare - A. PerezI know somebody already mentioned 'too much grain' as a possible issue, but for some horses ANY grain is too much. Try taking her entirely off grain. Also try as much turn-out as possible. I am always amazed when people pump their horses full of grain, keep them shut in a stall for hours a day, then wonder why they are so hot! That may not be the case here, of course! Some horses are just hot: I know, I own one of those. He can do the most amazing canter-in-place! One thing to try is tight circling whenever she pulls those 'dressage moves'. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
