AW: [RC] [Guest] Trailer ramps - Hilga HöfkensHere in Ger. the step-ups are not very common. So I´ve hauled quite a number of horses (and owners) with my step-up that had never seen such a thing before (two horse straight with front ramp to unload). Most of the time the owner went "OH, no horse could EVER jump up a step into a trailer!" (my step is fairly low). The horses had the sort of attitude saying "May I please get in while you stand here fretting, that haynet in there is much more of interest than the step to get there". So there is not much "training for no ramp" involved as long as the horses are not afraid of loading in general.
