Re: [RC] vaccinations - Bette LamoreTwo of my clients have had problems with the 5-way to date: one gave the shot in the rear and the horse couldn't move his hind end for two weeks. The other had a mare who went into shock and she had to immediately administer epinephrine.I won't touch the 5 way--- too much in a concentrated area and I try to give the flu-rhino on the other side than the enceph/tetanus For what it's worth :-) Bette and Bunny (who doesn't like shots no matter WHERE they are given) BTW I let him out of his small pasture to run free in our yard from time to time--- makes him feel special--- and yesterday Mark went to put him back (lest he chew on our cars again) and I saw this horse galloping from the front to the back. I had to laugh---- he's come a long way from the sling! Mark had to corner him to get him back where he belonged. Linda Parrish wrote: Makes me wonder too. I'll have to call my vet and see if he reports the reactions......
