[RC] Seabiscuit! - KathyZ1

Having read the book when it first came out and finding my pulse actually pounding while just reading the wonderful chapter on the match race between the Biscuit and War Admiral, I just LOOOOOOVED this documentary.
I found it so thrilling to watch all the actual newsreel footage. 
And seeing Seabiscuit with his cute 'look at me' attitude while eating the flowers from the victory wreath he was wearing is not to be missed.  He was really a cute horse.  Not a great beauty.  Just cute as can be.
SUCH a lovable character.
So if you did miss this fabulous doc, check your listings because it's playing again next week at various times on different PBS stations across the country.
For instance, here in Los Angeles, it's on again on Sunday at 6pm, KCET-tv, channel 28.
#948 on Direct TV.
I'm definitely going to watch it again and tape it this time.
