[RC] Beet Pulp at Rides - KathyI use a small ice chest for my beet pulp and put in forzen water packets or small bottles of frozen water to keep it cold. Works great for keeping the beet pulp from not spoiling during a ride. Also use it this way on the long hauls. I also mix a small amount of dehydrated alfalfa in with the beet pulp. My horse isn't a good drinker so I have to do all I can to get water in him so prefer to mix the beet pulp ahead of time so it has time to soak up as much water as possible. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
