Re: [RC] Worming for Tapeworms - Sullivan

My friend is using Quest for encysted small strongyles
but I'm afraid to use it and vet doesn't advise it
either.
The 5-day DOUBLE dose of Panacur or Safeguard sounds
expensive.

IT is darn expensive if you buy their Power Pak, or even any of the
Panacur or Safeguard horse wormers. IT will cost you $50 to $60 per
horse. YOu are paying for the packaging, flavor and word HORSE.

You can buy it much cheaper by going to livetstock stection and buying
either powder or liquid Fenbenzadole. The liquid is about $107 for a 1000
ml bottle. I find it goes down MUCH more effectively than the paste
wormers,
and cost, beucase I did multiple horses, is about $23 per horse, for the 5
day series.
Try American Livestock Supply....
