Re: [RC] Synthetic Shoes - Stephanie E CaldwellI have two brands of shock absorbing shoes here. One is pure rubber over steel, called Orlovs. The other is three initials, ATM (aluminum, Titanium, Magniseum) with Luwex pads underneath. As of right now I've not tried any of these and have "orthopedic" steel shoes on my horse due to a major crack. I tried the ground control shoes and were not happy with them. My horse has never lost a shoe until those. She didn't have thrush, but I felt like they were cheaply made, poor traction, and all around disliked them. Do not feel steel shoes are the way to go at all and to this point we have gone barefoot. Want to know what your thoughts are regarding the Equi-Flex and Ground Control horseshoes? Are there any other brands out there? TIA, Val __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
