Re:Re: [RC] Adequan ? - rides2farHi! I don't think Chondroprotec and Adequan are used for the same thing. Here is a websight about Chondroprotec: http://www.hymed.com/chondrop.htm or http://www.neogen.com/chondroprotec.htm I believe Chondroprotec is only given out by prescription, and is for outer body wounds. My vet says it's the same. Sells it as a "generic" Adequan. Costs considerably less. (I think $56 for a 2 dose vial) I've run out right now but will be buying more soon. I have no idea if it helps. I'm using it more as a preventative. It didn't seem to "heal" any problems he had when I started using Adequan or anything. I did use the real Adequan for a couple of years first and did the full initial dosage series. I can't imagine somebody getting $56 worth of good out of that tiny vial for an outer surface wound. Must be covered by their insurance. Angie ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
