Okay, I knew it would click in my mind at some point!  The mosquito fish are
Gambusia affinis.....check with your ag dept. and see if your county has a
mosquito
abatement program. Often these fish are offered free to the public.  They do
quite
well in water troughs. They are fairly smally, guppy size.
