Re: [RC] Shoe-pulling horse - Sarah WAnother possibility is to check with your farrier for a different type of shoe. I have a gelding that loves to yank his shoes off with the aide of fencing. My farrier found a plastic or polyurithane type of shoe that acts like a flip flop, so to speak. If they catch the heal, it will flop back into place, but is still hardy enough for daily training.
