[RC] Gas price survey / links to prices - JonniNow what I'd like to find out, is, are gas prices higher in California than in other states?<<< Here are some links to nationwide fuel companies, and the prices at each location. (I love this link for traveling) Keep in mind, each state has different TAXES they apply to the base fuel price! California has higher taxes they add on per gallon than many states. That tax money goes to maintain the roads. More roads to maintain, more money needed. I remember the gas pumps in California used to have a sticker on it, telling how much tax was being added on. So much for national tax, so much for local or city, so much for state. Have never noticed one of those stickers on a pump in Texas. Anyway, here are links to fuel pricing. I keep them bookmarked.
