Re: [RC] re:horses wont drink (in a big hurry) - LindaI had a problem with a new horse drinking last year. She was on the bottom of the herd at home. When we came to the water tank with another horse, she was picking up the body language from the other horse telling her to stay out of his water. I had to keep encouraging her to move in there with the other horse and drink. It took awhile for her to trust that she wouldn't get hurt. Now she will even give ears back when threatened at the tank. But when she's in the pasture... still last to drink. Linda At the water tank were two horses, with two riders sitting atop their horses telling them to "drink, dammit">>>>>>> =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
