I believe you all are losing sight of the true facts. The
important thing is the members have no input top the
Directors on these things. Every thing is done on a whim of
a particular Director and we have no period to comment to
our regional Directors or to the Directors-at-Large. This is
what I would call ramming things through.
Is this what the membership wants? If so, then all comments
on Board actions should be suppressed. If not, then Board
agendas should be required to be submitted to the membership
thirty days in advance of any BoD meeting as a period for
comment. Is that so difficult other than requiring some
forethought?

Right there on the AERC web page it states, "Official
sanctioning body for the
United States AND Canada." Hence the AERC doesn't not stop
at the US northern
border. So it should actually is the AERC championship not
the United States
championship.
