You guys probably already know this but I thought
I'd send it on anyway -- The BLM has issued its final regulations for
public land users in regards to obtaining Special Recreation Permits for
"commercial recreation activities, organized group activities and events, and
individual recreation use of a special area". The regulation became effect
October 31, 2002.
Organizations will need a Special Use Permit
for "any organized, sanctioned or structured use, event or activity on
public land in which two or more contestants compete. Examples
include: OHV races, horse endurance rides......".
