vicks...i had a problem on the xp 2001 when he buddied up to a gelding and 
someone came too close and BETWEEN him and the gelding before i could move him 
farther over...i should have let the other person pass on the outside right.i 
rode with a whip and now just ride with spurs.he has been out with 3 mares-with 
children as riders-with 3 foals at side...he likes being in the rear.i practice 
with my lesson students on a fire road or two track passing me and being passed 
by me by mares or geldings no problem now.i have met a couple of horses on the 
rides that give him the evil eye-geldings! and he gets pretty pumped up about 
being challenged so i either get going or hold back to make space and he comes 
back down to normal.i tie him on the same side of the trailer as a mare...he is 
tied to my flat bed and she will tie to the trailer.or next to a gelding he has 
trailered with in a pen side by side.joan INDIANA RED RIVER 55O MILES OF THE XP 
MORGAN stallion coming 8 yrs old being challenged in life is inevitable, being 
defeated is optional MCDERMITT

Hello-would like 
feedback-stories-input from people campaigning their
stallions.
1] Use 
vicks in nose? or any other product?
2] situations other riders have put you 
in?

Have a coming 6 yr stallion that rides just fine with friends horses 
but has
to scream a challenge at every new horse he see's-and am not going to 
do
this all weekend. Has learned not to drop or act otherwise on this-and 
is
awesome by himself on trails or with 1-2 others-even to riding 5 ft 
behind
or beside a mare.
Any suggestions or recommendations?
