    It won't hurt for a non-senior horse to get a senior feed.  Usually the
    slight increase in cost is made up for by not having to fool around
    supervising separate rations.
    
    There are a number of probiotic-plus-vitamin supplements available these
    days, I happen to like Grand Vite, but there are plenty of others.  Remember
    that the senior feed also provides a vitamin-mineral premix, so unless
    you're only feeding a small amount, the extra supplement may be redundant.
