Laura, I had my 7 year old geldings pulled and with the floating and special
treatment of teeth that were in bad shape it only cost me $125.  That is
from an equine dentist.  Sorry your hubby is resistant to have a dentist but
maybe your gelding can go in a hack as previously mentioned.  Whatever is
most comfortable for your horse down the line.  Hapyy Trails!
