The old wives' tale does have just the smallest bit of
truth to it. People tend to get sick when the weather
turns soar because our bodies work harder to keep us
warm. Thus, are immune systems are not up to par as
the energy is diverted. We end up getting sick
because our immune systems can't ward off the easily
wardable (is that a word??) that does not come close
to touching us in the nice weather. I'm not a doctor,
but this is what I've figured out.
I take herbal suppliments on a regular bases plus a
healthy dose of Vit. C. to help my immune system keep
up. It's not 100%, but I think it works. Just a
thought. =)
