[RC] Don't SHOOT the Dog - Tamara Taylor
Karen Pryor's book is called "Don't Shoot the Dog" and I agree that it is a
great introduction to operant conditioning. There are also horse specific books
out there such as "Clicker Training for your Horse" by Karen Pryor and
Alexandra Kurland.

There is also an email group similiar to Ridecamp that is made up of
approximately 1500 people that swear by operant conditioning at:

And so on which goes to show there are many, many alternatives out there. I use
this method with my animals and it WORKS with less wear and tear on them AND
me! :o)
