Re: [RC] Hunting Season - Lynn Kinsky
I was of the opinion that archery, & black powder hunting drew the
most experienced hunters. Then my husband informed me that here in
AZ it is getting so hard to get drawn for rifle hunts that everyone
is putting in for archery & black powder just to get drawn. It
seems to me that black powder would be to much hassle for the new
hunter, but archery might seem deceptively easy.

The bow hunters I've seen have cross bows with sighting scopes,
triggers and shoulder rests. They even have pistol versions. They
have to be closer to their target so that's a plus, but they are very
quiet so no one -- like the equestrian or hiker approaching the area
-- knows they are there (like a hunting rifle with a silencer!).
