Re: [RC] How do I get in "shape" for a hundred? - Rides 2 Far

When I was gearing up for my first I was so scared and wanting to get in
shape that I'd have ridden my horse into the ground. I walked 3 miles a
day and rode an Airdyne bicycle 10 miles about 5 days a week. THEN I rode
and rode. It was great. I lost weight, did the ride and felt so
wonderful that I realized I could stand to feel a lot worse than that
after a 100 so I dropped the exercise program. Now I just hurt for a few
days. It's easier. :-)
