[RC] Camping With Wild Things (Pig Problems) - Tina Rushing
I have a horse that is very protective and territorial. When we camp where
wild pigs are a problem there is no porcine trespassing in her area. A pig
within range will be pork. She is popular as a camp neighbor.
I have seen dozens of pigs descend on our camp in an evening. They are
almost fearless. I'd like to see some skilled bow hunting reduce the pig
population. No, wait... they are environmentally destructive invasive
non-natives. The population should be completely eliminated. I'm told that
they are tasty. [100W light bulb!] Imagine if everyone took one home for
the holidays?
Each One Get One... wasn't there once an AERC membership drive with a slogan
like that?
