Putting on the thinking cap and will let you know of anything else that I can come up with. Off the top of my head, I'm wondering "has the area been declared a disaster area"? There might be some relief through FEMA or a State program re: the damage to property -- perhaps getting in touch with their state office of emergency preparedness would help them in the right direction. Other than that, they may want to contact Hooved Animal Humane Society in Woodstock, Illinois -- they're on the web & that's the largest organization nearby which assists equines, or they may want to contact United Animal Nations, which offers some types of assistance for animal victims of disaster (UAN also has a website} hope this helps keep us updated. Please contact these agencies thats what they are there for!!
Keep safe and best wishes
