I saw that show the other night and thought Heather's, Valerie's, and the
horse being "pulled" up the hill looked rather good after doing 95 miles and
climbing a hill with 2000 ft elevation change. I didn't catch the length
(miles of the hill).
And forgive me, but I'm no expert by any means! JMO!
Red was trotting, dropped his head a couple times as if to stretch his back,
Valerie's horse was walking, and she appeared to be nudging him a little,
probably to get him to walk a little faster. Once she got to the top he
trotted off briskly enough.
When they came in to the finish they looked bright and fresh.
Didn't look all that traumatic to me!
