I've made several out of the same mesh I use for my hay bags. Its a bit
stiff but keeps the big horseflies from biting through. I put 2 dee's on
the back with straps to attach to rings or loops on the saddle. Not familiar
with the Sportsaddle in particular, but different length straps could be
used if needed.
I don't have any pictures of them yet, they're shaped like a regular rump
rug. The mesh comes in orange, also: grey, black, yellow, maroon, forest
green, red, & royal blue.

Does anyone know of a vendor that makes a blaze orange rump cover in
breathable mesh that would attach to the back of my SportSaddle? I don't
want a quarter-sheet that goes under the saddle (which is all I've seen so
far), nor do I want something that provides warmth.
