I have read with interest the input on the non-member fee
issue.
Please do consider that some of us ONLY joined AERC to avoid
the non member fees.
In fact I rode several rides as a non member long ago but did
not join because
for the few rides I rode it was not financially worth it to me
to join (very tight budget).
It does in fact benefit AERC to have another member &
they got one (me) because of the fee.
I applaude AERC for the work they do, Trails,
International, Awards etc but it is not the reason I joined.
Now that I am a member I have a better understanding of what
AERC is about & am happy to be a member.
BUT - I never would have joined in the first place except for
the non member fee.
