Non AERC riders receive benefits of an AERC sanctioned
ride. If there were no non-members riding, very
little would change financially as far as AERC is
concerned. Non-members don't make or break the
budget.
Of course, you're entitled to your opinion and I'm
sure you've give much consideration to this matter.
I, on the other hand, am acustomed to paying
non-member fees whenever I show or participate in an
event to which I don't subscribe to the sanctioning
body. Why should the non-members get a free ride when
others must pay their membership fee? What would be
the benefit of membership then?
