I just tried out a sports saddle for the first
time this week and I have to say I was VERY SAD giving it back to its owner when
I was done! I didn't think I was going to like it at all and was trying it out
cause my horse has some back issues with other saddles. Now I am on the big
search to find one soon, soon, soon. (By the way, I'm looking for a 15-1/2" or
16"....) They definately take getting used to them but then you ride in
traditional treed saddle right afterward (like I did) and it feels like a HARD
BOARD!! Guess thats why horses like these sport saddles. When you have a horse
with back issues, you can get used to anything for their sake. I'm just very
surprised how cozy it is to ride in!! Can't wait for one now!!
