    [RC] SE rides - oddfarm

I am just catching up on RC.

Hey now Angie, those aren't thee only two rides that are run well. Besides that, they are thee most crowded. As my buddy Terry said when he couldn't get his trailer out of the pines at Million Pines, "There must be a million f^@&!#^ pine trees here!"

Boy Scout at Camp Osbourne is fabulous. Right outside of Tifton. Ponce de Leon in the Panhandle, very much worth the drive. Liberty Run, crowded but very well organized and nice trails. Oconee, wonderful hospitality and pretty trails. We have many great Florida rides as well. Goethe is in December. Make it a Christmas present to yourself! Jennings Boogie will be in January and I guarantee, when your horse sees the buffalo and camels at the start, you will be doing the boogie alright! OH, it's fun. You'll be alright.

As far a Osceola, it has new management this year. Forget the past. It is very flat, usually with plenty of water. Very primitive camping, nothing nearby, (stores) but boy can you see the stars at night! I have done this ride a few times. IF, IF, IF the trails are marked, it should be a wonderful ride. This was my very first ride. Someday, I will share that story. It just goes on, and on, and on.
