[RC] Introduction - Bar JM Ranch Appaloosas
Hi!
I'm Melanie and I live in Greece. I have an 13yr old
off-the-track Thoroughbred mare who has been a
backyard pet since rebreaking her seismoid 3 years
ago. She foaled a beautiful bay colt July 22. His
sire is a very sturdy, experienced "mountain goat" of
Arab/Bulgarian carthorse background. I have been
shopping for a few-spot appaloosa stallion, but while
visiting the Kabijuk Stud in Bulgaria (looking for
purebred Arabian mares), I found a wonderful 18 month
old Shagya Arabian colt! We plan to pick him up in
October! I guess next year I'll shop for a few-spot
mare to go with him. I plan to eventually train
"Aladdin" for endurance. For now we'll concentrate on
Lyons/Parelli style schooling and start dressage
training at 3. I want to take it slow and I look
forward to learning more from this list!
