[RC] Wintec Endurance saddle - Lysane Cree
A little late in posting this perhaps, but I have this type of saddle and I love it! I bought my saddle the year before they came out with the CAIR panels and easy change gullet system. That is the only thing I would change about it - if I trade it in eventually it will be for a Wintec Endurance Pro with the Cair panels. I have used it on at least 4 different horses now - a Paint built like a Thoroughbred, a Quarter Horse, and two Rocky Mountain Horses - and I have never had any problems with it. With the newer changeable gullet system, it makes it so easy to adjust to different horses. I don't find the saddle moves around at all when I am girthing up, but then I do it somewhat gradually. Still, I don't have to girth it up any tighter than with any other saddle and it has never moved out of place while riding up/down hills and banks, across streams, etc. I love the fact that I can get it clean with just a sponge and the Equisuede is not so slippery for your legs and butt as smooth-finish sad
dles. What else?......I have never had a horse get a sore back with it, its very light, and in the "not too expensive-not too cheap" category...I think it sells for about 1200$ Canadian, brand new with the CAIR panels (so even less American $$). It has many D-rings for attaching stuff and the knee blocks (which are a good size, not too large) are velcroed on so that you can adjust them to your fit. So I would definitely recommend this saddle. I also use the Wintec girth and stirrup leathers and I am very satisfied with those as well. O.k., thats all. :)
