[RC] truck/trailer advice - Ridecamp Guest

    A. Perez walkergirl@xxxxxxxxxx
OK, I am planning to buy a trailer at some point in the (I
hope) near future. Here is my dilemna: I have a paid-in-full
1999 Ford Ranger (automatic tranny), and a 16 h TWH, (probably
about 1000 lbs). I am assured that my Ranger could pull a
Brenderup and 1 horse. However, at some point I hope to get
a second horse, and I'm pretty sure the Ranger can't handle that.
So I am now thinking of getting a second hand larger truck and
the cheapest stock trailer I can find. Anyone out there have any
particular make/model/year truck they really loved (or hated)
that could pull a stock trailer + 2 horses? I'd like to get
something for under $14,000 used. My other option is to buy the
Brenderup, and then, if and when I get horse #2, upgrade the truck.

    comments, suggestions?
