    Colleen....

Don't know the farm name, but my gelding "Sun of Dimanche" (Sunny) is
also a "Triange" horse with Dimanche Triange on one side and Engarde
Triange on the other. Sunny was bred by Harry F Christopher, Jr. from
Centreville, Md. I bought him in a dispersal sale...don't remember all
the details, but there was a death and the farm closed, I think. If you
want to see Sunny's breeding look here. Not sure how many of the Triange
horses exist. Maybe someone with the Registry CD could look it up for
    you?

    Then search for Dimanche.

I've often wondered about he source of the name. "Dimanche" is french
for "Sunday", so Sunny's name is "Sun of Sunday". Triange means "three"
or "triangle", so "Dimanche Triange" would mean "Sunday Three" or
"Sunday Triangle"? My french is somewhat fractured here! <grin>

The original line goes back to Samtyr. (For Sunny, couple of generations
    back on dam side)

    SAMTYR
    8(8-0-0)1-0, Arabian Horse Trust
Racing Hall of Fame, 1st National
    Championship. Sire of 21 crops,
    262 registered foals, 114 starters,
    80 winners, 32 stakes winner

You might want to look at Samtyr bred horses, which is where I believe
the disposition comes from. I looked at quite a few when I was looking
for a second horse. They tend to have great dispositions...very level
headed, intelligent, willing to please, and gentle.

Email me privately if you want to discuss..
