Ridecamp: [RC] pocket pads?

Hi all!  Here's a nice non-confrontational question (I
hope!).... 

Has anyone tried a pocket pad?  You know, the pads
with pockets sewn on instead of saddle bags?  My
dressage saddle isn't really designed for saddle bags
(I've got it rigged at the moment, but I'm not happy
with the set up).  I'm wondering if those pocket pads
slip sideways if they're not perfectly balanced?  Or
do they bounce (even more than saddle bags)?  Anyone
with experience with them?  Are they worth trying?
