Usually products made for horse hair is rougher than
products made for human hair.  I don't use a lot of
stuff on my hair but I DO condition with a
high-quality product.

Like I said, I really like Cowbow Magic.  Baby oil and
WD40 are both petroleum products and build-up on the
hair.  Of course, I use baby oil and pet. jelly on my
horses and give them a good rinsing once in awhile.
