breed this mare 6 times when so many wrong the first 2 times >>
Whoa!!! This really got to me as well. Because it sounds like this gal is
trying to do a good thing. It says nothing about how many times SHE has
tried to breed the mare, just that only one is six has been healthy. Could
have been previous owners had bad luck and this one thought she could do
better (i.e. better nutrition, different studs, etc.) What if the first two
were dead (no explanation why), then one alive, etc.? Is it the stud? When
is the line drawn for stopping and who makes that choice? Now that she has
found that nothing works, she doesn't want to continue this line of bad
breeding (i.e. burn the papers). And wants to give them away to a good home
and lists all the vices so there are no secrets as opposed to offering to
sell a papered, painted mare, make a profit and let her be somebody elses
problem. I know breeders of several animals species who won't even do that,
they simple cull the bad apples and move on.

You have your opinion and I have mine, and I believe this gal is trying to do
the right thing and a good thing.
