Re: [RC] Non-Arab Horses?? - DESERTRYDR1
I said "Think half-Arab...." and "Nothing wrong with an Appy for endurance,
as they are very tough horses. Some jump and show very well. Most of the
ones I have had experience with were quite stubborn, and some were not the
easiest horses to train, but the ones with good temperaments were GREAT
horses."
Vickie says "Before you "trash Appaloosas" I suggest you open your eyes to
the fact that not every horse of every breed is outstanding..."
Come on Vickie, that hardly sounds like a TRASH. I clearly stated that I was
basing my OPINION on only the ones I had experience with and said some very
complimentary things about Appys. Someone was looking for a non-Arab horse
for her daughter for both showing and endurance. She sounded like she did
not want to consider the Appy. I was telling her not to discount all Appys.
You know, if you want to be offended, you can always find a way. If you
choose to take posts on this site as TRASHING rather than an attempt to share
information, it says more about your mindset than mine. jeri
