First, I'd like to point out that this is Steph's list, it runs on her
equipment at her expense, and so we have an obligation to honor her
wishes. We have a choice: if we don't want to accept her rules we
can unsubscribe.
Second, I support her decision. It's very nice to search for "the
truth," but these kinds of threads don't bring out the truth. They
are filled with hearsay, innuendo, half-truths, outright falsehoods,
and character assasination. Reputations can be damaged in ways that
can never be recovered.
If you think "something smells," the AERC has venues for remedy. File
a protest, or contact your Directors. They can investigate and
separate facts from innuendo, and take appropriate actions.
